Tiramisu Sweet Rolls

What do you get when you cross a cinnamon roll & tiramisu? Possibly the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had.

For a monthly baking challenge, I made Tiramisu Sweet Rolls which are soft fluffy rolls filled with a coffee-brown sugar filling and then topped with a mascarpone icing. Then dusted with a layer of cocoa powder. I mean…what’s not to love?

  • For the filling, melt a portion of the butter and dissolve instant coffee

  • Then mix with rest of butter and brown sugar (omit rest of the filling ingredients from recipe)

  • Make the frosting from this recipe. Spread a thin layer on the warm rolls fresh from oven and then wait for the rolls to cool a bit before piping on the remainder.
